A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Controls Engineer to join a market leading specialist equipment manufacturer in West Berkshire, on a permanent basis.
The Controls Engineer will be taking full ownership of Electrical and Controls projects from development, design, programming and support. As such a varied role is to be expected with experience in electrical, PLC controls a must.
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for:
* Delivering Automation solutions to a wide customer base, including Electrical, PLC, SCADA and robotics
* Programming PLC software using Ladder Logic
* Robotic setting
* Producing Electrical wiring diagrams using CAD
The ideal Controls Engineer will have:
* A proven background within Automation and Controls
* A manufacturing / machinery background
* Experience in a range of software languages which could include, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, LabVIEW, C#
* Electrical CAD experience using a design package such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical
* Knowledge in Robotics
