My client is an instantly recognisable consultancy who urgently require a Lead Java Developer to join a business-critical programme.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Lead Java Developer within the public sector.
• Active Security Clearance (SC).
• Expertise in a range of technologies including Java 11, Java EE (EJB), JSPs, Git, Maven, Welogic, Hibernate, SQL, Postgres and OS (Windows and Linux).
• Ability to provide management and resolution of tickets relating to incident, change, service request and problem processes.
• Understanding of Release Management including building deployment packages ready for release into production environment(s).
• Ability to work and take ownership of legacy services, with legacy deployment model(s).
• Writing and passing of Feature / external API tests.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Proven experience with Virtual Machines and / or working in virtual environments command lines.
• Commercial experience with Oracle DB.
• Database migration skills.
• Systems integration skills.
• Immediate availability.
