Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Leeds
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm)
Salary: £42k

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing Food Manufacturing business based in Leeds. The company is currently experiencing impressive growth and, as a result, is looking to strengthen its engineering department by appointing a proactive and skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer. Key Responsibilities of a Multi Skilled Engineer:

Conduct routine maintenance, fault finding, and repair of production machinery to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
Perform both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting across a wide range of food manufacturing equipment.
Support production teams in diagnosing and resolving machinery issues swiftly to ensure smooth operation.
Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team and the wider business.
Key Requirements of Multi Skilled Engineer:

Qualified to a Level 3 NVQ or above in Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
Strong electrical skills with good mechanical knowledge.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
A proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
