Description
- Managing and maintaining the purchase ledger
- Processing invoices and reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details
- Prepare and perform cheque runs
- Carry out invoice and statement reconciliations as required
- Manage petty cash
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting & Finance
- Proven experience in a similar role and confident with the duties listed above
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
