JIB Qualified Electrician - Working Locally & UK Wide.

Salary: £55K to £60k pending experience, Plus Benefits, Plus Overtime, Plus Company Van, Plus Fuel Card, Plus Expenses.

Hexagon Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our client for the permanent position of a skilled and Certified JIB Electrician to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, a valid JIB certification, and expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, within, Retail & Industrial & Commercial Installations Etc.

Requirements: Must be fully qualified with Certs, Must be able to travel & work throughout the UK, Some Occasional Nights Out required, be able to work with the EPOS & Cat Cabling Install & Repair teams.

Responsibilities:

Electrical Installations:

Conduct electrical installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints whilst installing electrical systems & EPOS and wiring systems Cat5, Cat6 etc.

Maintenance and Repairs:

Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, EPOS systems and to ensure optimal functionality.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults promptly.

JIB Certification:

Maintain a valid JIB certification and stay updated on industry regulations.
Adhere to JIB standards and practices in all electrical work.

Safety Compliance:

Implement and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Identify and mitigate potential electrical hazards.

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other team members and departments.
Communicate effectively with clients and provide technical support as needed.

Qualifications:

JIB Certification:

Valid JIB Electrician certification.

Experience:

Proven experience as a JIB Electrician in Retail & Commercial Sectors.
Familiarity with Cat5 and Cat6 and Cat6A installations

Technical Skills:

Proficient in electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.

Communication Skills:

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals.

Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and protocols
