Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Year 3
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time
Salary: £110 - £130 per day (depending on experience)

A well-regarded and welcoming primary school in the heart of Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team in Year 3. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive setting with a strong leadership team and a commitment to professional development.

Role Responsibilities:

Support teaching and learning across the Year 3 class.
Deliver planned interventions and small group sessions.
Provide cover teaching for short-term teacher absence when required.
Assist in planning and preparation under teacher direction.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

What We're Looking For:

HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in KS2, ideally within Year 3.
Confident supporting pupils of all abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, flexible and nurturing approach to working with children.
