At Constellation, we are looking for skilled kitchen porters to join our rapidly growing team in Leicester to work at exciting events taking place at various venues including Leicester City FC and Leicester Tigers.

You must have 1 year experience as a Kitchen Porter/ Kitchen Steward.

Main responsibilities:

- Ensuring all cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils is professionally cleaned before and after use and ensure all service areas are kept clean, tidy and safe.

- Cleaning of kitchen work areas during and after use and removal of kitchen waste to the appropriate area.

- Exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

- Cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks

- Cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day

- Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators

- Receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen

- Operating cleaning machinery as shown and trained in accordance with company policy.

- Comply with all company and unit policies with regards to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Manual Handling and COSHH.

- Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Pay Rate

£12.00 per hour + holiday pay.
