The Asmodee Group has four main activities: Publishing and distribution of board games, Digital and Entertainment.

Job Summary

This role involves building and maintaining long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of retailers; developing new business from existing customers, proactively identifying new opportunities and providing outstanding service to ensure customer satisfaction.

What does the role involve


• Operating as the main point of contact for a portfolio of assigned accounts, consisting of a range of major national retailers
• Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with customers
• Working with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service and drive efficiency; adapting services and products to meet the customer’s specific needs
• Identifying opportunities to grow business with existing customers, and generating sales by upselling and cross-selling
• Taking ownership of customer issues and working swiftly to resolve them to the satisfaction of the customer wherever possible
• Using data, analytics and forecasting to drive profitability and manage stock holding
• Proactively contact customers to make them aware of new & upcoming product releases to increase sales
• Negotiating with customers including pricing and terms on full season listings and special promotions

What we are looking for


• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to quickly establish rapport and build trust
• Confident communicator, both verbal and written
• Adaptable to changing demands and priorities
• Works well under pressure
• Strong team player but happy to work independently
• Positive and enthusiastic with a passion to learn and deliver fantastic customer service
• Resilient and determined
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong IT skills, including intermediate Excel skills to manipulate and analyse data (Vlookup, Pivot Tables etc)
• Proactive, in terms of looking at new Sales/Marketing opportunities and understanding new problems
• Previous experience (minimum of 3 years) working in a sales environment, preferably as an Account Manager
• Experience with Business Development & opening new accounts.
• Previous experience in the toy and game industry(D)
• Interest in gaming (D)
