Job Title: Electrical Service Engineer
Location: Home-based (Ideally within commuting distance to Market Harborough, preferably south of Market Harborough to cover client locations primarily around London, M25, and the M4 corridor)

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and a positive, team-oriented attitude. In this role, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing switchgear systems across the UK, including circuit breakers, control circuits, LV switchboards, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
· Service, installation, and repair of circuit breakers.
· Fault-finding and panel wiring for control circuits.
· Service, installation, and construction of LV switchboards.
· Installation and fault-finding on changeover systems, G59/G99 systems.
· Fabrication and modification of HDHC busbars.
· Support clients with top-tier service and technical solutions.
· Work flexibly across the UK, including weekends and extended shifts when required.

Required Qualifications:
· Recognised electrical engineering qualification (HNC or higher preferred).
· AP/SAP status is advantageous.

Required Attributes:
· Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
· A proactive attitude towards helping both the company and clients.
· Willingness to work weekends and travel across the UK.
· Commitment to delivering excellent service even during challenging shifts.

What We Offer:
· Salary: £35,000 to £42,000.
· Company Van (with fuel card).

· Overtime paid at 1.3x after 40 hours per week.
