We are currently recruiting for a well established company in the Nelson area. They are looking to recruit a Junior Estimator on a permanent basis. This is an existing opportunity for someone who is looking for a gradual career progression. See some of the duties and responsibilities below.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Assisting the Estimator in calculating the cost of materials required for each project.

* Liaising with Clients & Suppliers on a daily basis regarding projects.

* Working closely with other departments regarding time frames etc.

* Negotiating with customers regarding projects.

* Working to deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Skills required :

* You must possess and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

* Good time management skills.

* Attention to detail.

* Strong mathematical skills and the ability to have the basic knowledge and understanding of drawings.

* Knowledge within the joinery sector would be considered highly beneficial.

* Driving licence is preferred.

Hours & salary :

* Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm & Friday 8am - lunchtime

* On-site parking.

* Yearly bonus.

* Salary £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
