Macildowie Finance are working with a large business based in Leicestershire to recruit for a Management Accountant vacancy on a permanent basis.

This position will be predominantly remote based, with circa 95% of the time spent at home, and occasional travel to the office.

They are looking for ideally a Part Qualified/Finalist Level candidate who is actively studying and keen to complete their qualification soon.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations,
• Monthly journal posting,
• Ensuring P&L and balance sheet balances are accurate,
• Working on Fixed Asset Register,
• Regular meetings with a variety of stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for this role will be/have:

• Part- qualified/qualified Accountant, with desire to continue with qualification,
• Strong accounting knowledge, previous work within an accounting position,
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables),
• Brilliant interpersonal skills
