Parts Procurement / Stores Supervisor
This is a new role within an established classic car company who’s rapidly growing Parts Dept requires a dedicated manager who can run all aspects of stock and parts related activity and grow this very important and potentially very profitable arm of the business
They are looking for someone with energy, passion and ambition to build something great
Key Skills:
Relevant experience in procurement and stores management
Knowledge and experience of automotive parts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Highly organised and a team player
Work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and attention to detail
Excellent IT skills in MS Office applications - Outlook, Excel & Word
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the company’s inventory and stock, controlling costs within a set budget
Manage and maintain the company’s materials, parts and consumables inventory
Source automotive parts both nationally and internationally
Responsibility for all parts logistics and customs documentation
Liaise with project managers and technicians on all aspects of procurement, product availability and expected delivery dates from preferred suppliers
Liaise with external suppliers and negotiate best price
Perform regular stock checks
Take full responsibility for the organisation and storage of all stock and parts
Negotiate contracts / certificates of guarantee with suppliers.
