JOB – Senior/ Lead Electrical Design Engineer  LOCATION – Greater Manchester TERM - Permanent SALARY – circa £45,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience (higher end for previous leadership experience) A Greater Manchester based Engineering company are currently looking for a Senior/ Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The Senior/Lead Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• HNC or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
• Previous experience & knowledge of LV Switchgear solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft office, outlook, excel etc.
• Ideally some experience & knowledge of AutoCAD design package (not essential).
• Ability to lead a team & strong communication skills.
• Full UK driving license.

The Senior/ Lead Electrical Design Engineer’s duties will involve:

• Lead the design, applications & compliance for all LV engineering.
• Ensuring customer requirements are met at all times.
• Training & supervision for the junior electrical design & applications engineers.
• Producing BoMs, wiring diagrams & electrical schematics.
• Troubleshooting & testing when required.
• Attending site visits when required.
• Liaising closely with sales and other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times.
• Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
