Are you a Class 1 HGV Driver, seeking your next challenge?

Due to expansion, my client is seeking a Class 1 HGV driver to join their team at their Midlands Depot, on a permanent basis.

Working Monday to Friday with some weekend work when required, this role offers an opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and to be part of the ongoing and future success.

Duties:

Loading, unloading and transporting Construction plant equipment and attachments
Loading and securing each load in compliance with the required regulation.
Carrying out and completing delivery and collection checks on each load ensuring all aspects of the load are captured using a tablet based reporting system.
Daily vehicle checks and inspections on the allocated vehicle reporting any defects to the transport manager immediately ensuring constant compliance in line with regulations and company standards.
Upkeep, light maintenance and housekeeping of your allocated vehicle.Requirements:

A Clean Class 1 licence
Experience in abnormal loads, loading, securing and transporting of plant equipment
NPORS or CPCS Loader Securer advantageous
FORS eLearning modules advantageous
Excellent communication skills.
Good attention to detail.
Good initiative.
Good time management.
Good organisational skills.
