This Kenilworth based company are a growing business and are looking to employ a Marketing & Business Development Executive to join their team.

The successful candidate will learn to provide outstanding business and technology support. The individual will gain experience in a wide range of business skills, including marketing, sales, product development, commercial aspects and delivery, as well as developing their ability in software configuration and development.

The job holder will:

First and foremost the job holder will demonstrate the right attitude and a willingness to learn and develop in their role. Necessary training and support will be provided.

Areas of involvement, development and then responsibility include:

Initially

·Business support as part of team facilitating product development, marketing, sales and delivery - this activity ranges from marketing activity to supporting with the development of new software through testing, feedback gathering of product development suggestions;

·Marketing support, planning and delivery - on & off-line including: email marketing, social media planning and content, website content management, production of posters, handouts and other marketing resources.

·Customer support including telephone and email support, online training and demo sessions. Following training in School sector, For Schools products and services and customer handling

·Team support - no job too small!

With time

·Software development support, including elements of coding, code updates and database management.

·Creating new imagery and animated content to deliver engaging marketing content.

·Sales management and reporting, keeping track of leads and sales using internal systems such as CRM and analytics platforms.

·Product development including project management and process design.

·Administrating websites and supporting the SEO, analytics and PPC related to these.

·Business planning and development, including competitor analysis.

Skills

The job holder will:

·have the right attitude;

·be a good communicator, who can demonstrate effective relationship skills, both on the telephone, in-person and in writing;

·be a problem solver with good analysis skills and a willingness to find a solution to any challenge;

·be creative and willing to put their own ideas for engaging marketing content into practice in an innovative way;

·be focused on delivering to a high level of quality at all times;

·be literate - able to create and proof read marketing content aimed at a wide range of audiences;

·be numerate - able to deal with relatively complex mathematical issues, such as pricing & spreadsheets;

·be technology literate, highly competent and have the will to develop and use their skills further. Ideally familiar with Microsoft and Adobe applications; used to dealing with new software packages and keen to learn how software and technology can be used to its fullest;

·be familiar with a range of social media platforms and how each might be useful for marketing and engagement;

·be aware (and willing to learn more) of web based marketing techniques such as SEO and PPC advertising;

·be willing to learn how to use things such as HTML, C#, SQL and other supporting technologies;

·enjoy working as part of a team and on own initiative as circumstances demand;

·be keen to learn and advance in a growing small business;

·be a self-motivated, a self-starter and independent worker who sees tasks through to completion
