The successful candidate will have an thorough knowledge of GCSE & A-Level specifications, using these effectively to plan and deliver impactful lessons for pupils of different age groups (KS3-KS5).

Responsibilities:

Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage pupils and help them develop key skills.

Assessment and Feedback: Conduct regular assessment to monitor pupil progress, maintaining accurate records of outcomes.

Classroom Management: Manage classroom behaviour effectively through the consistent use of the School's behaviour policy.

Wider School Responsibilities: Engage and actively participate in wider professional responsibilities such as lunchtime duty, parents evenings, and transition open evenings as required by the School.

Qualification Requirements:

Teaching Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with a focus on Maths is highly advantageous, however, experienced non-qualified teachers will also be considered for the role.

Subject Knowledge: A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field is essential.

Teaching Experience: Proven experience as a Secondary teacher with a successful track record of student achievement is positive, but not essential. Strong ECTs will also be considered for this role.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
