This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Planning to join a company with current turnover of £50 million and with steady growth plans anticipated. Our client is genuinely proud of their product, and are widely considered one of the premium house builders from both a specification and build quality perspective in the Home Counties and southeast of England.

This is an exciting time for a Head of Planning to come on board who currently have 14 developments in progress ranging from high-spec apartments through to 5&6 bed houses of a high-end and high-spec nature.

Head of Planning Salary & Benefits

Salary Expectations: £70k to £85k DOE
Car Allowance £550 - £650 a month DOE

The appointment and coordination of external planning consultants to oversee workloads on applications and appeals
Support the land buying team on appraisals on future land purchases
Undertake thorough site assessments.
Manage planning applications and planning condition discharges.
Prepare and manage the submission of planning applications.
Oversee s106 agreements and ensure planning condition compliance.
Support the Land & Planning team throughout the project management process, including amendments and discharge of conditions.
Reporting to Managing Director Head of Planning Job Requirements

Previous experience working in the private or house builder sector in the field of planning policy / strategic land
Degree / Masters Planning Degree with an RTPI accreditation and a rounded knowledge of planning
Ability to adapt to change and to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
Excellent verbal communication skills
