CNC Turner (Programmers or Setter/Operators considered)

Contek are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner to join an established company in Nottingham.

This role is a full-time, permanent position within a company that have been in business for decades offering a secure and varied role for the successful candidate.

You will be primarily working creating components for the Aerospace sector, but may also include work for other sectors such as Mining, Food or Hydraulic industries for example.

Responsibilities:

* Programming, or Setting and Operating CNC Lathes

* Work to drawings to accurately produce components to client specs.

* Inspection of components throughout the manufacturing process.

* Work within a team or individually where required.

* Organise your workload while working methodically throughout.

Experience required:

* Proven experience as a machinist working on Lathes

* Ideally apprenticeship served or with a solid engineering foundation.

* If you come in as a setter, you must be willing to learn the programming side of the role.
