Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, fault find, and repair buildings and services.
  • Adapt to changing work environments and urgent requests.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and complete tests and inspections.
  • Review and develop policies and procedures.
  • Manage fixed oxygen systems and use CAFM software for job management.
  • Follow plans and specifications for safe work completion.
  • Determine and procure necessary materials and tools.
  • Communicate updates and manage disruptions.
  • Supervise subcontractors as needed.
  • Support Project Manager on in-house projects.
  • Complete condition reports and undertake general estate duties (e.g., gritting, litter picking).

Skills and Requirements:

  • Ensure timely completion of H&S compliance tasks.
  • Proficient in using CAFM systems.
  • Participate in on-call duties for out-of-hours support.
  • Trade qualification or extensive experience in multiple trades.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Experienced in FM/Building services.
  • COSHH trained, asbestos awareness, fire alarm testing.
  • Knowledge of H&S regulations and experience in reviewing risk assessments and method statements.

Working Hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week between 0700 - 1900.
  • Weekends 1 in 4 - 0800 - 1600.
