Goals and Objectives for the Production Engineer in South Manchester:

✨ Assemble IRMS systems with precision and care.

✨ Craft IRMS interface products that set new industry standards.

✨ Conduct meticulous functional testing of products to ensure optimal performance.

Secondary Responsibilities for the Production Engineer in South Manchester:

🔍 Document and address faults and quality issues to continuously improve.

🔧 Work closely with our warehouse team to ensure a steady supply of essential parts.

📝 Contribute to the creation and updating of production documentation.

🔄 Collaborate with the production team to streamline processes.

🔌 Assist in root cause analysis and resolution of wiring and electrical issues.

Competence:

🔍 Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and follow instructions.

💻 Proficiency in IT, including MS Windows and MS Word.

🧠 Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach.

🌍 Understanding of Health and Safety practices.

Requirements:

📚 Education: Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree preferred. A Levels, ONC, City & Guilds level 3, BTEC National Diploma Level 3 or 4, or equivalent NVQ level 3 qualification.

🔌 Work Experience: Prior experience in mechanical, electrical fitting, or vacuum systems is beneficial. Understanding of design and production costs, including waste, downtime, and rework is a plus.
