Our client, a prominent organisation within the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer on a contract basis to join their team in the London Borough of Harrow. This role is integral in ensuring the smooth operation and management of traffic systems within the borough.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning, designing, and implementing traffic management schemes
Conducting traffic impact assessments and feasibility studies
Analysing traffic data and providing recommendations for improvements
Preparing technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
Collaborating with other engineers, planners, and local authorities
Ensuring compliance with relevant traffic regulations and standards
Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of traffic interventions
Managing public consultations and liaising with the community

Job Requirements:

Experience in traffic engineering within the HTP sector
Strong understanding of traffic management principles and practices
Proficiency in traffic modelling and simulation software
Ability to interpret and analyse traffic data accurately
Excellent report writing and presentation skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork skills
