About the Role

As a Product Development Assistant you will be responsible for product specifications using online retailer platforms. You will be an integral part of the concept to launch process for new products and assist in the maintenance and improvement of existing products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product specification process through to artwork meeting retailer requirements inline with BRC
• Work with NPD/Technical Development to gather technical information for specification e.g. recipes, raw material specifications, nutrition etc.
• Work alongside wider teams of quality, NPD and operations to ensure smooth product launches

About You

The ideal candidate will be looking for a 6-month fixed term contract position to further their knowledge of product specifications and FMCG with a well-established food manufacturing production company. If you are a good communicator and enjoy collaborating with multiple teams, this role is perfect for you.

Key Skills/Qualifications

• Previous experience in product specification standards and meeting audit requirements
• Driven process in product development in a FMCG environment
• Strong experience working with suppliers and retailers on driving best practice
