Job Title: Upper Key Stage 2 Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Leeds. This full-time role will involve working closely with the class teacher to support Year 6 pupils, particularly in preparation for their KS2 SATs.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and preparing students for KS2 SATs.
Work with small groups or one-to-one with students who need additional support.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Assist with planning and implementing interventions tailored to the needs of the pupils.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in Upper Key Stage 2, is desirable.
Experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation would be advantageous.
Strong behaviour management skills.
A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
