Job Title: Security Officer

Pay Rate: £12.71
Hours per week: Variable Shift Rota - 06:00 - 18:00 - 42 hours per week

Role Overview
We are currently recruiting foraSecurity Officer to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in the Gaydon Area.
You will undertake duties including access and egress control to site, managing visitors, monitor CCTV, complete reports and many more.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will be providing an efficient and effective Security Service, ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained across the site.
- Managing the access and egress of the site completing logs where required.
- Regular site patrols, check calls and reporting of incidents.
- You will have a high standard of professionalism and be extremely security conscious.
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises during the assigned shifts.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
- To ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service.
- To promote and uphold the principles of security in accordance with the policies and directive.
- To maintain logs of messages and arrival of visitors.
- To adhere to the company’s dress code and wear correct uniform.
- To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company’s health and safety policy and health and safety management plans.
- To comply with the company’s policies, management plans and procedures.
- To support AML with the management and testing of the Fire Systems
About You:
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- Previous experience in a busy security role
- Strong people and customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- Must be able to carry out duties whilst lone working and be confident filling in necessary paperwork
- We want to see enthusiasm, a proactive attitude and your ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- You need to be well presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail.
- A Criminal Record Check, employment history and Right to Work check.
- SIA LICENSE Is a requirement.
- Driving License is preferred.
