Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an opportunity to grow with a well-established and expanding fit-out company? Our client, a specialist fit-out and refurbishment contractor with over 20 years in the industry, is seeking a dedicated QS to join their team. Based in Birmingham, they focus on commercial and residential re-fits, delivering high-quality projects across the region.

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing project costs, ensuring profitability, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers. You'll be responsible for:

* Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents

* Managing contracts, valuations, and variations

* Conducting site visits and financial reporting

* Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers

* Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices

What We're Looking For:

We're keen to speak with experienced QS professionals with a background in commercial fit-outs, housing refurbishments, or transferable skills from similar sectors. Ideal candidates will have:
✔️ A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
✔️ Experience in cost control, procurement, and value engineering
✔️ Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
✔️ The ability to work independently and as part of a team
