Receptionist Position at a London Law Firm. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join a distinguished law firm in London. This is a fantastic role for someone who excels in delivering 5-star customer service and is eager to learn and progress in a professional setting. As the firm’s Ambassador, you will play a key role in creating a lasting first impression. Your responsibilities will include managing room bookings, coordinating with the catering team for client lunches, and handling diary management. The firm offers impressive benefits, including a generous bonus and private healthcare. Candidates with previous Front of House experience in a corporate environment, 4 or 5-star hotels, or as former cabin crew are encouraged to apply.

Reception Duties Include:

  • Acting as the firm’s Ambassador, managing the switchboard, and handling incoming calls with professionalism.
  • Screening and redirecting telephone calls, ensuring clear communication.
  • Providing a warm and friendly welcome to clients, staff, and visitors.
  • Managing room bookings and utilising meeting room software efficiently.
  • Coordinating with the catering team to organise drinks and lunches for guests.
  • Overseeing meeting room setups, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard by the cleaning and catering teams.
  • Assisting with diary management and scheduling conference calls.
  • Monitoring office supplies and placing orders when needed.
  • Performing general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and managing post and couriers.
  • Supporting PAs and Directors with various administrative duties.
  • Booking travel and accommodation arrangements for staff and visitors.
  • Carrying out other ad hoc duties as requested.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Front of House/Receptionist role, preferably in a corporate or luxury environment, or as Cabin Crew.
  • Exceptional communication and administration skills.
  • Ability to interact confidently with high-profile clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Professional telephone manner, polished appearance, and a courteous attitude.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
