Position: Mechanical Project Engineer
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £67,000 per annum

Company Overview:

Our client is a leading engineering solutions provider specializing in high-quality mechanical and electrical projects. They are dedicated to delivering innovative and efficient engineering solutions to their clients and they have a current project on state-of-the-art laboratory facilities in the Witney area of Oxfordshire for which they require a locally based Mechanical Project Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the mechanical engineering aspects of the laboratory project from inception to completion.
Develop and review project specifications, design documents, and technical drawings.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.
Provide technical support and problem-solving solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project engineering.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, and building services.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant engineering software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Local candidates preferred to support future projects in the Witney area.
