We are looking for a motivated PLC Software Development Engineer to join a market leading company.

Role Description

  • Develop subject matter expertise in Siemens and Schneider PLCs.
  • Provide technical leadership and programming expertise to drive improvements and new developments.
  • Support lead development engineers in continuous improvement initiatives and new innovations.
  • Deliver high-impact changes by managing multiple projects to enhance technology.
  • Take ownership of your work, meeting agreed deadlines with internal stakeholders and contractors.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Is a flexible team player with plenty of enthusiasm and thrives under pressure.
  • Holds a minimum of an HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and is eager to learn new techniques and technologies.
  • Desires end-to-end involvement, from concept to delivery.
  • Brings extensive PLC programming expertise and fault diagnosis skills-particularly with Siemens and Schneider systems (experience with other systems will also be considered).
  • Ideally has experience in the food or processing industry (not essential). Design for functional safety and SCADA experience would be a bonus.
