Practice Manager - Community Locality Mental Health Team
Salary: £54,684 - £64,032 per annum
Location: Westminster, London
Contract: Fixed-term (12 months)

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Practice Manager to lead the Community Locality Mental Health Team at Westminster City Council. In this key role, you will manage a team responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs. You will ensure that all services comply with the Care Act, Mental Health Act, and safeguarding standards, while managing a caseload of complex and high-risk cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of service delivery and professional practice.
Oversee complex mental health assessments, care planning, and safeguarding interventions to ensure positive outcomes for service users.
Take responsibility for managing high-risk cases, providing guidance to the team and escalating issues as necessary.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including health professionals, housing providers, and voluntary organisations, to ensure coordinated care and support.
Manage performance, conduct appraisals, and ensure ongoing professional development for team members.
Lead on service improvements, implementing strategies that enhance care delivery and meet the needs of vulnerable adults.
Ensure that the team adheres to adult social care legislation and mental health legislation, as well as internal policies and procedures.About You:
You will have substantial experience in managing adult social care or mental health services, with a solid understanding of mental health legislation and safeguarding practices. Your leadership skills will enable you to drive team performance and foster a positive, collaborative environment. You will be adept at managing complex situations and providing guidance to staff, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care.
