Position: Secretary
Location: Digbeth, Birmingham
Hours: Part-time, ideally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Salary: £13 per hour

The Client: A well-established property business located in the vibrant area of Digbeth, Birmingham, is seeking an experienced Secretary to join their traditional office. Celebrating 50 years in business, they pride themselves on values and on providing exceptional service in a small, close-knit team of six dedicated professionals.

Job Summary: Following retirement of an employee of 16 years they are now seeking a part-time Secretary with excellent audio typing skills to support the office operations. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of managing various administrative tasks with efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Audio Typing: Accurately transcribe audio recordings into written documents.
File Management: Copying and organizing files, ensuring all documents are correctly stored and easily accessible.
Research: Conduct research as needed to support business operations and projects.
Telephone Work: Handle incoming and outgoing calls, providing excellent customer service and directing calls appropriately.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Secretaryor in a similar administrative role.
Proficient audio typing skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
