Electrical Contracts Manager - Prison Surveys

Our client is an established and busy specialist M&E subcontractor delivering a wide range of M&E services nationally.

They have secured a package of work overseeing an 8 month survey of M&E systems at a major Prison in the North West of England.

The successful applicant will be overseeing a team of trades conducting surveys of electrical systems, mechanical services and fire alarms. You will be responsible for overseeing site safety, managing the relationship with the main contractor, ordering materials, managing trades and ensuring adherence to programme and budget. You will also be required to act hands on with the survey process from time to time.

To apply this role you must mee the following criteria:

* Time served electrical contracts manager / site manager / project manager

* Due to the nature of the work you must have an Enhanced Level 1 Check already in place - please note this is categorically essential and we will not be able to progress any applicants at all without this qualification

* You will have SSSTS as minimum, ideally SMSTS

* You will have relevant electrical qualifications such as 18th edition, 2391, etc

* You must be able to lodge five days per week (expenses paid)

* You must be fully eligible to work in the UK

* You must be available to start at the end of the April

This position is a contract role based in the North West, paid CIS, to start at the end of April and will last 8 months.
