Join their team and play a crucial role in keeping their personnel and contractors safe.What you'll be doing:Providing expert advice on health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policiesDelivering assurance visits on construction projects and conducting inspections and auditsBuilding strong relationships with contracting partners and acting as an intelligent client modelProactively advising different business areas on health and safety, liaising with enforcing authorities and professional groupsManaging hazards and overseeing the implementation of preventative and corrective actionsRunning training sessions and being the go-to person for the EcoOnline systemInvestigating incidents and collaborating with contracting partners to analyse root causesSupporting managers with practical guidance and tuition to monitor compliance in their areasPromoting collaboration and best practises through participation in working forumsProviding security and wellbeing advice and facilitating communication between teamsWhat you bring to the table:In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practisesExperience in an advisory role, preferably in a utility, facilities, construction, or critical national infrastructure environmentNEBOSH Diploma or equivalentStrong communication skills for effective interviewing and report writingLeadership skills to drive behavioural and business changesAbility to work independently with limited guidance
Utilities or Construction industry experience preferred.Desirable qualifications and knowledge:Technical knowledge of the water industry and disciplines such as fire safety, asbestos management, ATEX, DSEAR, etc.CMIOSH or CFIOSH qualification with post-qualification experienceEnvironmental awareness qualificationDrivers Licence essential - approx. 3 days at sites in Hampshire area, home based with occasions days in an office.Join a team that values safety above all else and work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
