Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Primary School in Newport. This role is ideal for those with previous experience working with children, whether in schools, sports coaching, babysitting, playschemes, or other child-focused roles. We value all experience and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds!

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting Classroom Learning: Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, providing 1:1 and group support to pupils.
Building Strong Relationships: Foster positive relationships with teachers, pupils, and parents to support the child's development and learning.
Ensuring Student Well-Being: Safeguard the health and safety of the students in your care, while providing a nurturing learning environment.
Making a Difference: Your input will help enhance children's access to education both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Help students with learning activities, ensuring all pupils can access the curriculum.
Collaborate closely with the teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
Supervise and support group work, activities, and playtimes.
Create and maintain positive relationships with students and their families.
Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Experience with Children: Whether in a school, sports, nursery, or other child-focused role, your experience counts!
Strong Communication Skills: You'll be working closely with teachers, children, and parents.
