A well-established accountancy firm in Sheffield is seeking a Tax Senior to join their team. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, offer ad-hoc advisory services, and support the firm in delivering exceptional tax services across the board.

Role Responsibilities - Managing a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, ensuring timely preparation and filing of tax returns
- Reviewing simple tax returns prepared by junior staff members and providing feedback
- Preparing forms P11Ds and handling PAYE Settlement Agreements for clients
- Preparing Capital Gains Tax returns for residential property sales
- Offering clients a proactive and cost-effective taxation service, including ad-hoc advisory work
- Assisting managers and partners in researching technical tax issues and drafting advice
- Supporting and coaching less experienced members of the team to help develop their skills
- Keeping managers and partners updated on the progress of your work and client portfolios

Candidate Requirements - Qualified by experience or be ATT/ACA/CTA qualified or part-qualified
- At least 2 years’ experience in personal tax work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with clients and colleagues
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple deadlines
- Some experience in other taxes would be beneficial, though not essential
