Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Do you have the skills and dedication to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners? We are looking for a motivated and compassionate HLTA to join our team at a well-established Special Educational Needs (SEN) school on the Wirral.

About the Role:

As an HLTA, you will work closely with the teaching team to provide high-quality support to children with a range of learning, emotional, and physical needs. You will play a key role in supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop their confidence and skills. Your role will also involve:

Assisting in the planning and delivery of tailored lessons and activities.
Supporting students in their personal, social, and emotional development.
Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to monitor student progress and implement strategies to promote achievement.
Supporting students with various learning disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and dedicated to supporting students with SEN. You will need to have:

A recognised HLTA qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young learners.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to work flexibly and adapt to the individual needs of the students.
