Role OverviewThis newly established role offers the opportunity to:
- Lead and Develop a Team: Manage and mentor 4-5 team members, driving their professional growth and departmental success.
- Collaborate Globally: Work with internal and external stakeholders, including insurance brokers and companies, as well as teams across Europe and Japan.
- Shape the Future: Prepare to step into the Department General Manager (DGM) role within 6-12 months, as part of a structured succession plan.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management & Development
- Provide leadership, performance planning, and coaching for team members.
- Inspire and guide team members to achieve their full potential.
- Operational Excellence
- Enhance relationships with internal and external stakeholders to streamline operations.
- Apply insights and best practices from the global insurance market.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and insurers across Europe.

- Collaborate with senior management to provide insights on insurance program renewals, market changes, and risk developments.

- Innovate and refine processes to boost departmental efficiency and alignment with corporate objectives.
What You'll BringQualifications:
- Degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Professional insurance qualification (e.g., ACII, CPCU, Cert CII) or equivalent experience.
Skills & Experience:
- In-depth corporate insurance knowledge across lines such as Property & Casualty, Marine, Energy, etc.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and networking skills.
- Proven experience managing teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Fluent English (Japanese preferred for communication with global counterparts).
