Finance Officer

Pinpoint Resourcing are partnered with a fantastic membership organisation based in London to source a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

About the role:

To directly manage the Membership & Sales finance strand, managing all subscription and non-subscription income to ensure it is processed accurately and on time. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

Job Description:

• Works with the Membership & Sales Assistant, Membership Contact Centre and other teams as appropriate to ensure subscription and non-subscription income is processed accurately, collected on a timely basis and reported correctly in the accounting system.
• Setting up direct debits and maintaining the system to be up to date at all times.

• Leads and manages the Membership and Sales finance strand, ensuring that staff understand their role and objectives and are trained and developed to deliver the needs of the union, reporting back to the Deputy Head of Finance & Projects Officer as appropriate.

• Works with the Membership Contact Centre and other teams as required, auditing subscription collections to ensure the collection is accurate, annual or other increases have been actioned, and money collection software is working effectively.

Requirements

• Excellent eye for detail
• Good Excel skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to interact with all levels of Senior Management
• Good organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines

Salary + other information:

• Salary: £35000
• Based near Victoria
• Hybrid working arrangement - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
• Hours: 9am - 5pm
• 27 days holiday
