Role Overview

The Nursery Manager is responsible for the overall management, development, and day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and compliance. This role involves leading a team of professionals, managing resources efficiently, and fostering an engaging, safe, and stimulating environment for children

Your responsibilities -

* Provide strong leadership to the nursery team, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.

* Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise staff, ensuring professional development opportunities are available.

* Lead regular team meetings and ensure effective communication across all staff levels.

* Promote the nursery within the local community to ensure maximum occupancy.

* Handle administrative duties such as maintaining records, payroll coordination, and scheduling.

* Maintain a safe and secure environment, adhering to all health and safety, safeguarding, and child protection policies.

* Oversee the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum

* Monitor and support children's development, ensuring accurate observations and assessments are carried out.

* Ensure all children's individual needs are met, promoting inclusion and diversity.
