Project Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke components within the automotive industry, based in the Nottingham area. They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the team.

Project Engineer Position Overview

Delivering projects in line with timescales and budgets
Maintaining a point of contact with customers and offering technical support
Estimating project timescales and resource requirements
Leading the build of prototypes
Problem solving with tools such as 8D
Producing 2D CAD drawings
Running project meetings to liaise on project milestones
Producing design solutions with the CAD team for fixtures and tooling

Project Engineer Position Requirements

Understanding of advanced product quality planning
Previous background within project engineering
Previous experience with 2D / 3D CAD, ideally Catia
Understanding of GD&T principles
Knowledge of Press Tooling is desirable
Full UK Driving License

Project Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary £30,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour working week. Flexible start & finish times.
