RG Consultancy are proud to be working with an established and reputable client in the engineering industry who are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their supportive and knowledgeable team on full time, permanent basis.

The Management Accountant role reports into the Financial Director and is responsible the following:

• Performing month-end tasks such as preparing journals for accruals, pre payments, and fixed assets.
• Preparing monthly balance sheet and cash flow reporting, and managing monthly inter company reconciliations
• Overseeing the monthly expenses process, including managing the expenses system and ensuring payment of approved expenses.
• Liasing with key stakeholders
• Preparing and submitting quarterly UK VAT returns including the payment of liabilities.
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Supporting internal and external audits as required and attending audit reviews with the Finance Director.
• Preparing annual statutory accounts and audit packs to ensure timely submission.
