gap healthcare is currently recruiting for a new and exciting opportunity on behalf of our client based in Oxfordshire working out of Banbury or Didcot/Abingdon for a experienced Registered Service Manager.

Our client provides support in residential care, supported living, and domiciliary care for individuals with learning disabilities.

Travel requirements:

Required to travel around a geographical area of Supported Living settings within the Region.
Be able to stay away from home overnight for reasons such as on-calls, supported persons holidays (only by absolute exception and with prior agreement of line manager), management meetings, emergency cover for shifts, and training.
The postholder will be assigned to either individual or a group of supported living settings within a defined geographical area - this may change from time to time and location

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support services within the assigned geographical area.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Manage and support front-line staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with supported persons, their families, and external stakeholders.
Coordinate and participate in on-call duties as required.
Monitor and manage budgets and resources effectively.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Requirements:

Experience in a managerial role within the care and support sector.
Strong understanding of supported living services and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to travel within the assigned geographical area and stay overnight when necessary.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call duties.
