SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a dedicated English Lead to join a specialist Home Tuition Team within an established SEND Service in East London. This is a unique opportunity to shape English provision, support vulnerable learners, and make a real impact on their education and future.

About the Role:

This maternity cover position is confirmed for the Summer term, with a strong possibility of extension. As English Lead, you will:

Deliver tailored, high-quality English lessons to students receiving home tuition or alternative provision.
Lead curriculum planning and development to ensure engaging and effective teaching.
Support and train tutors within the Home Tuition Team to enhance English provision.
Monitor progress, assess needs, and adapt teaching strategies for students with diverse learning requirements.
Work closely with schools, families, and external professionals to support student reintegration.
Attend review meetings and contribute to statutory and non-statutory reports.
Occasional evening work may be required, with potential opportunities to work outside the borough.What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong English teaching background.
Experience supporting students with SEND, medical, and mental health needs.
A track record of leadership in curriculum planning and quality assurance.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
