Location: MiddlesbroughSalary: £40,000 - £60,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager within a well-established company in the steel industry. The role is pivotal in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient running of projects and operations across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth work flow across departments.
• Ensure the efficient and safe management of steel projects, from initial planning through to completion.
• Manage resources, time lines, and budgets effectively, ensuring projects meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain a focus on health, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Drive productivity improvements and foster a culture of problem-solving within the team.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in the steel industry, with a strong understanding of steel fabrication and project management.
• Proven track record of managing teams and overseeing large-scale operations.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• A solid understanding of health and safety regulations within the steel industry.
