Purpose of the Role:
A lead role in understanding and deciphering of client requirements, to estimate and manage projects including commercial, technical and scheduling activities whilst acting as a focal point for clients. Tendering and delivering successful, on time and on budget projects that leave the client satisfied, while ensuring they are managed safely and effectively daily to increase capacity, capability, maximise margins. Bringing experience together with a positive attitude towards all colleagues, clients, and suppliers. Setting good expectations for others to follow and to show the willingness to progress.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Promote and contribute to maintaining and improving Health, Safety and Environment across all operations complying with best practice, company procedures, risk assessments and legal requirements
* Promote a proactive commitment to TEXO improvement initiatives
* Manage project tendering activities providing support, commercial and technical reviews prior to submission
* Direct multiple projects ensuring completion to the required standard, delivery and budget
* Fabrication estimating and preparing quotes based on the enquiry received to deadlines
* Arrange and hold Kick of Meetings (KOM) with all key and relevant personnel involved
* Hold and attend any necessary Management, Project and Client meetings with relevant personnel when required
* Management of Project Budget, Project Reporting and Project Schedule
* Cultivate and develop customer and supplier business relationships
* Ensure all contract requirements and client expectations have been fully understood through Contract Review process
* Liaise with cost control team to ensure information is current to facilitate accurate decision making
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, within specification and within budget ensuring that variation management is completed in a timely manner
* May be requested at times to perform other tasks and work additional hours in abnormal situations to ensure customer requirements achieved
* To mentor, coach and provide experience to the junior members of TEXO Engineering & Fabrication
* Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and diligence
