Job Title: SHE Officer (Safety, Health, and Environment)

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced SHE Officer on behalf of our esteemed manufacturing client in Sutton Coldfield. The SHE Officer will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and responsibilities for managers, employees, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide advisory and supportive actions on new manufacturing projects, facilities changes, and operational improvements.
Cascade relevant policies into all areas of the business.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and undertake investigations to change procedures as appropriate.
Conduct internal health, safety, and environmental audits to meet company standards.
Liaise with occupational health.Qualifications:

NEBOSH qualified (minimum requirement).
Additional certifications in hazardous or explosive material environments are advantageous.
Exemplary interpersonal skills with an assertive nature.
Proven track record of affecting change across a business.
Strong analytical skills to process and work with complicated datasets.Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
