Our client is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to lead their dynamic team. This pivotal role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage a team while ensuring the highest standards of efficiency. The successful candidate will be a specialist in Residential Property Law, confident in handling all legal matters related to property transactions, and adept at advising clients on all aspects of the buying and selling process, including legal issues, finances, and contracts.?

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Expertise: Manage a diverse caseload involving sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and other residential property transactions.?

Client Advisory: Provide comprehensive advice to clients throughout the buying and selling process, ensuring clarity on legal issues, financial considerations, and contractual obligations.?

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.?

Business Development: Utilise strong business development skills and local property sector contacts to drive growth and expand the firm's client base.?

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all transactions comply with current legal standards and manage associated risks effectively.?

Technological Integration: Leverage legal technology to enhance departmental efficiency and service delivery.?

Person Specification:

Qualifications: Fully qualified Solicitor, CILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer.?

Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ experience within a busy residential conveyancing team as an established Fee Earner.?

Skills:

Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities, capable of managing workloads under pressure.?

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.?

High standards of client care with a professional and approachable demeanor.?

Proficiency in legal technology and case management software.?

Strong leadership capabilities with experience in staff supervision and development.?

Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of the firm's culture and values.?
