Job Opportunity: Solar Panel & Heat Pump electrician

Location: Ipswich, UK

Duration: 8 Months (start in 6-8 weeks)

Role: Installing Solar Panels & Air Source Heat Pumps in Social Housing Properties

Are you ready to join the revolution towards a Net Zero future? We're looking for skilled electricians to help us prepare the nation for a sustainable tomorrow. If you have experience with heat pumps and solar panels, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

Install solar panels in various social housing units, including running connections, securing, and signing off on installations.
Collaborate with roofers who will prepare the installation sites.
Connect and sign off the power for heat pumps.
Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.
Work efficiently to meet project timelines.
Collaborate with team members and provide regular progress updates.

Qualifications:

Inspection and Testing or equivalent qualification (to sign off own installations).
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Solar PV Qualification.
18th Edition certification.
Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
Experience in similar roles with PV installations.

What We Offer:

Competitive daily rate of £300 - £350 CIS/LTD (or £228.21 - £266.24 PAYE)
