Job Alert: SEN Teaching Assistant - Woolwich Secondary School

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our partnered secondary school in Woolwich. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, term-time only.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (including non-verbal children), Learning Difficulties, and ADHD. This role requires a strong understanding or experience working with SEN children. You must also be open to providing personal care as part of the role.

Key responsibilities include:

* Encouraging student engagement and helping them to communicate effectively.

* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with SEN.

* Supporting students during break times, lunchtime, and extracurricular activities.

* Collaborating with the SENCO and other professionals to monitor student progress and well-being.
