Job Overview: We are looking for motivated and reliable Warehouse Picker/Packers to join our dynamic team at a highly reputable wholesale food manufacturer based in Godalming. This full-time role involves picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints. Early morning shifts starting at 5/6 AM are required, Monday to Friday, with 45 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities: - Accurately pick, pack, and prepare food products based on customer orders.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and trolleys, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Check product quality, ensuring items meet company standards before dispatch.
- Keep accurate records of inventory and report any stock discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles as needed.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Requirements: - Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to start early (5/6 AM) and commit to a 45-hour work week.
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift and move items up to 25kg.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- The role will be working in a chilled environment so the right candidate will need to be ok with this
