My client are principal roofing contractor operating across the South, Southeast and London. With a turnover of over £10 million per annum, my client complete schemes across various sectors including Commercial, Public Sector, Retail, Educational, Residential and more. Mixed across Refurbishment and New Build projects, they have a steady pipeline of schemes going into 2025 and are looking for new Site Manager to join their long-standing team.

The succesful Site Manager will manage projects across London and Home Counties with a focus on running flat roofing commercial schemes, therefore a strong portfolio across similar projects is essential. Typical projects are valued between £250k - £1m, therefore experience on projects of a similar size and scale is preferable. They have various projects across London and are prepared to reshuffle their existing workforce to ensure the new starter is well located to their site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develop and manage roofing schedules, coordinating crews and material deliveries (membranes, insulation, flashing, etc.).

* Supervise daily roofing operations, ensuring proper installation of flat roofing systems (e.g. TPO, EPDM, PVC, bitumen).

* Enforce roofing-specific safety measures, including fall protection, PPE, and safe handling of roofing materials.

* Conduct regular inspections of roofing systems during installation to ensure proper waterproofing, insulation, and flashing.
